Lighting up your point of view

Who?

I'm Helen Kallou Gerolemou and I am the CEO of HKG Innovations, Inventor of The Eyeglass Light.

Why?

In early 2010, I woke up one morning with an idea and two years later, here I am. Based out of Sandy Springs, Georgia, USA. I decided to manufacture an LED light that would assist eye glass wearers to see better in low lit environments. I did not want just any LED light. I wanted one that attaches firmly onto the sides (temples) of eyeglasses and snaps shut; one that had a memory foam cushion so to not scratch or damage the frames; it had to be light weight (less than 1 ounce) so to not feel heaviness on the user; and finally, as an added feature, a bendable arm to maneuver the focal point of the LED light. The Eyeglass Light was born.

Then..

I decided to travel to China to meet with my manufacturer. Once the face to face connection was made, production was soon underway. The Eyeglass Light was launched in November 2011

For You!

So, if you are one of those people who have every LED reading light in your night stand draw; if you are tired of having to adjust the book light whenever you turn a page; or what about those of you who need that extra light for DIY projects. The Eyeglass Light makes for a great DIY light because you can use both hands. The same goes for Map reading, Jewelry making, Sewing and if you are a Mechanic or Electrician, using both hands and seeing with enough light is key. There are so many LED lights out there and some are better then others, for sure. The Eyeglass Light was designed for people who wear eyeglasses, whether prescription, readers, Goggles or Safety Glasses. The Eyeglass Light attaches to the side of your glasses (temples) and with a click of a button, sheds a bright, illuminating light onto whatever you are focused on. The LED bulb is recessed so to not be obstructed by light peripherally. It's lightweight and fits most all frames. It will soon become the eyeglass wearers best friend.

Believe:

We believe in shedding light wherever there is darkness.
